About this islamic blog

Assalaamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullah!

What is this Islamic blog about?

Well I just decided I had enough reading the same sick, fabricated hadith/stories that are widely spread in the e-ummah, be it on Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, islamic forums, emails or sms.

In fact you guys may read anything you want, but STOP attributing it to the Holy Prophet or in other words

*** STOP lying on the Noblest of the Creation ﷺ ***

This is where my blog comes about. One may alert the sender what he shared is baseless, still people do not actively counsel each other about it, and one still finds the same false hadith or stories decades after decades.

So I decided to launch a simple blog listing such stories in the hope our active da’wahyes the responsibility is yours too! – will help educate the ummah and eradicate this chronic infection.

The wrongdoings of the liars lasted centuries, now tis time we annihilate their evil. We might be engrossed in more sins than the previous generations, but we may compensate by cleaning the fabricated narrations polluting the words of the Noblest of the Prophet ﷺ.

‘Ulama have already done the job, as the true heirs they are.

So where is the problem ? Right behind this screen. YOU, me, us, them : the responsibility of [non] sharing concerns everybody.

Traditional islamic ressources are widely accessible, now there is no excuses to remain backward. We can solve our current issues provided we clean our centuries-old trash.

Don’t you want to be part of the Success Squad that will help reforming the Ummah ?

I have not the pretention of listing all mawdu’ ahaadith reports concerning fiqh, history, etc… for this many books are available and I have not the required level of knowledge to present them to you, but I want to list the most common stories & tales which plague our ummah.
So here you will find those famous infamous stories with the rulings on each report, if possible by competent scholars (no matter their fiqh differences).

You reject too many narrations I personally heard from very high-calibre ‘ulama, you must be a wahabi, right ? Judging from the websites & scholars you quote… ?

‘Ulamas are not infallible, and most certainly those who quote fabricated hadith do not do so intentionally, and for sure criticising a narration does not equal criticising them and their good deeds.

Unfortunately, awareness of arabic and access to reference books of hadith authentification was not widespread like it is today, and was even less so in non-arabic countries (like the non-arabic lands like the Caucasus, the Indian sub-continent and other remote lands of Islam, where such baseless reports are widespread even today).

Nowadays, nearly all such books are online and accessible; being yourself educated, I am sure you can understand the matter in an objective and educated way, instead of resorting to the motto “you wahhabi” “you XYZ”, like how backward people act.

Please not you may have heard some fabricated hadith found on this blog in bayans or in the books of passed and present revered figures of islam, so how on earth can an unknown blogger be right and some ulama ones wrong ? Well be assured they never quoted baseless reports on purpose. They were humans and although they devoted their lives in pursuit of knowledge, they could not be 100% perfect in all areas. Some were experts in fiqh, others in tafsirs, others in reformation of hearts thus for ahadith one should consult with the hadith specialists. Nonetheless, one should continue to revere all figures of Islam.

If you wanna know about the author of this blog, know that he’s a poor struggling soul that has no islamic qualification whatsoever, I was ordered to be called muslim and thus belong to no sub-sects in particular (only from ahlus sunnah wal jama’ah).

Do not believe me, believe what the ‘ulama say in the sources at the end of each article. Indeed I deliberately try to post sources from different sunni scholars because if scholars from East and West from various sunnis sub-sects ALL AGREED on a specific narration being a forgery/very weak, then you cannot say this blog is biased, and you can only accept the evidence as a layman; we can only submit to the consensus of those Giant Scholars of hadith verification !

Finally, you may help by :

  • Spreading infos found here on social networks (Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp, e-mails, forums), and then you can also leave these networks a little bit.
  • Contacting websites that promote such fabricated stories al-hamdulillah there are still sincere muslims that accept advices. Insha’Allah, if we can make this effort to cleanse our deen from such atrocities, that would be wonderful. Even if people remain unconvinced, they will be more careful next time they post hadith, which is still a small victory.
  • Informing me of any famous narration and/or genuine reference; I certainly did not include all famous fabrications here, I need your help too!; Unfortunately I don’t get much time for looking for narrations, writing a nice post, so any help would be appreciated indeed.
  • Make du’a for all muslims around the world, for their unity, for their steadfastness in practising Islam, including the author of this blog.

    1. Assalamu ‘alaykum brother,

whilst these narrations are suspicious to me, I cannot give a ruling especially when there is no source mentioned. You are under no obligation to forward “hadith” that do not have any source, let alone any basis.
If you want a competent answer, ask a shar’i scholar (for example here: http://www.askimam.org ).

May Allah reward you for your intention to seek the truth.

  2. Ameen jazakallah Khair
can I ask who is behind this blog ?
    the main muhakik ( researcher/ scholar ) ?

    1. Yes this hadith is doubtful, however since there is a debate on its authenticity I cannot post it here as I only want 100% mawdhu or ultra-weak ahadith. JazakAllahu kheyran.

  3. Could you post regularly
Also could you mention the fabricated narrations/stories the people in tabligh quote/what are famous amongst awaam

    1. Assalamu ‘alaykum,

I’m very busy these days unfortunately thus cannot post regularly. When in doubt about a narration refer it to the iftā’ websites.

      Wassalam.
